Dancing Witches Meets Historical Drama?

​The new 'Suspiria' directed by Luca Guadagnino, has been an extremely divisive film since it's debut at the 75th Venice International Film Festival. This remake or more of a reimagining, adds an hour-long subplot about Dr. Josef Klemperer also played by Tilda Swinton, which seems unnecessary and bloats the runtime of the film to a staggering 152 minutes. Because of this, the film lacks tension and pales in comparison to Argento's masterpiece. There's a great movie in there somewhere, unfortunately, it's hidden behind long subplots, unintentional humor, and a terrible slow-motion, shaky-cam ending. That being said, both Dakota Johnson & Tilda Swinton are amazing as Susie Bannion & Madame Blanc. Check out our full review below.
